What are in your words the strengths of your firm?
“We are Chartered Accountants with the professionalism that goes with the name, but we recognise that our clients want so much more than historical accounts. Our focus is now less on the past and more on the future, to help our clients have the right information they need at the right time to make the right decisions at the right time. Our strengths are all bound around and linked to the character, philosophy and attitude needed to deliver this service while retaining the personal friendly support for which small firms like us are well known.”
What is the most valuable lesson you have learned at your firm?
“People in business are so busy ‘doing it, doing it’ all the time, that they need the right type of support and information to allow them to more clearly see what is happening, or what will happen if changes are not made to the way they work.”

What is the best or most rewarding experience you have had at your firm so far?
“Helping clients to survive and grow their businesses when they looked destined to fail, and also in being seen as an important partner who can be trusted sitting alongside, when those important decisions need to be made.”
What result you achieved for a client, are you most proud of?
“Persuading a client to accept they were going bust and to work with an insolvency business to put them into a CVA (Corporate Voluntary Arrangement) for 3 years, and then work closely with them as they turned the business around and subsequently sold for millions less than 10 years later.”
What is your favourite statement that you regularly use when advising your clients?

Which conditions should a ‘firm of the future’ meet?
“A ‘firm of the future’ must recruit and train their team to have an overwhelming passion to use Artificial Intelligence and Technology to provide very quick, relevant, detailed and reliable information to our clients, to help them to be more profitable, while at the same time being able to plan and communicate personally with our clients to plan their affairs for sensible tax mitigation, and wealth creation.”
How do you see the future of your firm from your perspective?
“An exciting journey with an experienced passionate group of fellow practitioners, who will be able to attract and recruit the right calibre of new team members willing and eager to accept our ‘flame of innovation’ and run with it to produce an ever-improving and winning ‘Torch of Excellence’ as we set new hurdles for others to follow.”
